That CA Objectification piece is such controlling bullshit. They are trying to get the argument out there so that any art they don’t like they can just say, “I don’t feeeelll she would’ve consented to that and so it counts as sexist.” Any art they do like, of course, the girl would have certainly consented to.
And why is objectification a crime anyway? We objectify everyone. You have to. Most humans that you encounter in your day to day activities you’re treating as an object for a purpose. It’s not who they are. It’s what they are doing for you or against you at that moment that’s important.
The cashier who just gave you your coffee is serving a function, those people you deal with on the job are serving functions, the people on the street, you’re thinking of as things to maneuver around. You don’t have the time and mental strength to think of every person as a human, and there’s no reason to.
Men are objectified constantly. Thought of by what they can do or provide for people. It’s only when we think of serving sexual functions that the feminists get all uppity because that where their competition comes in.
